Adult Faith Formation

Adult Confirmation

Tuesdays, 6:30-8pm, beginning March 15, 2022

If you missed Confirmation as a youth, now is the time to receive it!

Confirmation, along with Baptism and the Eucharist, is a Sacrament of Initiation. The graces of Confirmation strengthen and guide us in taking on more mature responsibilities in the public life of the Church. The adult Confirmation program offers a review of the foundational teachings of the Catholic Church and the chance to grow in your faith through fellowship and prayer. While the focus of this class is preparing for Confirmation, it is open to anyone who would like to join us for a refresher in their faith.

Registration forms can be email to Mary Williams or dropped off at the parish office during regular office hours or Mass times.

Kingdom of Happiness: Living the Beatitudes in Everyday Life

Women's Bible Study, Wednesday, 10am-12pm, onsite, beginning April 13, cost: $25

In this encouraging, 8 session study, Father Jeffrey Kirby offers hope to the tired, overburdened, and unhappy. He reminds us that we are made for happiness, and Jesus showed us the way to happiness in the Beatitudes. Kingdom of Happiness reveals how these aren’t merely nice sayings; they are powerful ways of living.

To unveil the path to happiness in Jesus Christ, Fr. Kirby not only relies on emotional arguments or soft spirituality, but turns to the boldness of the Lord’s Beatitudes, the real promises to true happiness. He teaches about the love, power, and self-control within them by showing their practical, life-application in today’s world.

Kingdom of Happiness shows that the Beatitudes are not a self-help guide or a boring list of eight more things to do, but are a series of grace-filled, life-giving promises that excite our souls and point us along a way of life that assures us of true, lasting happiness.

Wisdom: God's Vision for Life

Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm, beginning April 26 on Zoom, cost: $25

Seek Wisdom and Increase Your Sense of Peace! Scripture and the Tradition of the Catholic Church provide an abundance of wisdom, though it can often be challenging to apply it to our lives. In this eight-part study, Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith examine biblical wisdom as it relates to daily life. Drawing on the wisdom literature of the Bible—Proverbs, Wisdom, Sirach, and Ecclesiastes—Wisdom: God’s Vision for Life will teach you how to actively seek sound guidance and increase your sense of peace in navigating life.

In everything from friendships to finances, from making decisions to attaining peace of mind, Scripture offers a vision for happiness and well-being. With this program, you will learn how to gather, gain, and grow in wisdom, and you will experience the joy it brings to your life.

Please contact Mary Williams with any questions.
