Children's Faith Formation


Touching Safety

Rescheduled: March 31, 10-10:50am, grades Pre-K - 5th

March 31 we will be offering a class on Touching Safety to all children in our Sunday School program during the regularly scheduled Sunday School time. This curriculum is an extension of our Safe Environment program and a continuation of our commitment to ensuring our children’s safety. The curriculum will be focused on helping children understand how to set safe boundaries with other and what to do if someone around them makes them uncomfortable.

We invite parents to attend this class with their children if they would like to. For more information on the curriculum and on the principles of Touching Safety, please visit the Archdioceses website. Curriculums can be viewed using the links on the sidebar of this page.

Parents have the option to opt their child out of the class if they would like. Opt out forms are available here.

Vacation Bible Camp: ROAR

July 23 - 26, 2019

Save the date for Vacation Bible Camp! Registrations will be opening at the beginning of June, but if you would like to volunteer as a helper, you can contact Mary Williams now. 

Sunday School

Pre-K - 5th grade: Sundays, 10-10:50am

Our qualified volunteer catechists provide a loving and safe environment to foster the growth of our children in the faith.  The children are introduced to the joy and wonders of God’s love through teaching and a variety of activities which accommodate their grade level and learning style.  Children of all ages will enjoy attending Sunday School with our warm, loving, and caring catechist. Children must be registered to participate in the program, but there is no fee.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) offers children grades 1st-5th the opportunity to participate in the Liturgy of the Word in a way that is accessible and meaningful for them. CLOW takes place during the 9am & 11am Masses twice a month. We ask that you register your children, but there is no fee for participation.

First Communion

First Communion in recieved in the second grade and meets one Saturday a month from 9:30-11am. This program prepares children to receive their first Reconciliation and first Communion. There is a parent component to our program, and we ask that at least one parent attend every session. For more information please go to our Eucharist page.
